Temporary Emergency Video Notarization Law Expires March 1, 2021
Kenneth McAllister joined the Lawyers Mutual Board in 2003 and was named chair in 2012. He is a former U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of North Carolina and General Counsel and Senior Executive Vice President for Wachovia Bank. Ken practices with the High Point firm McAllister, Aldridge & Kreinbrink, PLLC, in the areas of business and corporate law, business and civil litigation, personal injury, and white collar criminal law. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, where he was a Morehead Scholar, and the Duke University School of Law, Ken has served on the Board of Visitors for the University of North Carolina, the Wake Forest University School of Law, and the Duke University School of Law. In addition to being named to Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite, Ken has served on the Governor's Commission on Business Laws and the Economy, the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority, and as a director of the Southeastern Banking Law Institute.
