Lawyers Mutual welcomes sixth summer associate through NCBA’s Minorities in the Profession Committee program

Lawyers Mutual is proud to partner with the North Carolina Bar Association’s Minorities in the Profession (“MIP”) Committee again in welcoming summer associate, Alondra Bribiesca. Lawyers Mutual is committed to investing in the future of the profession and partnering with MIP has been a great way to do so.

Alondra Bribiesca is a rising 2L at Campbell Law and will be joining the team at Lawyers Mutual for six weeks. Lawyers Mutual summer associates work closely with claims attorneys and obtain experience conducting research, drafting documents and attending mediations. Summer associates also write at least one post for the Byte of Prevention blog . One of the most valuable components is networking. During the six weeks Alondra will have the opportunity to attend programs and meetings with other legal professionals. Lawyers Mutual focuses on building relationships with summer associates and helping them make connections that will benefit them as they continue their education and transition into practice.

“Hiring summer associates through the MIP is a continuation of Lawyers Mutual’s mission, supporting the legal community. Besides that, having a law student in the office in the summer is fun for us as well! We get to hear the perspective of law students as they enter their new profession and we build relationships that we hope will last for years. Alondra is a great addition to our office and we look forward to seeing her accomplish great things as she continues law school and enters the profession,” says Vice President of Client Services Camille Stell.
