Lawyers Mutual is pleased to welcome two new employees to our company. Jamie Onna has joined our Underwriting Department and Troy Crawford has joined as a Claims Attorney.

Jamie graduated cum laude from Bernard M. Baruch College and she worked as an underwriter for Chartis Insurance analyzing risk for public and private financial institutions.

Prior to Lawyers Mutual, Troy was in private practice with Crawford, Christopher & Parker, PA and he worked as subrogation counsel with Investors Title Insurance Company. He graduated cum laude from North Carolina State University and Campbell University School of Law. In his current position, Troy primarily works with real estate claims.

Lawyers Mutual also welcomes two new members to the Board of Directors, John M. May, an attorney with Robbins, May & Rich LLP, located in Pinehurst and William G. (Bill) Pappas who practices in the Raleigh office of Parker Poe.

John practices in the areas of business and real estate transactions, including estate and tax matters. A graduate of Wake Forest University and the Wake Forest School of Law, he also received his L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University. A graduate of the University of North Carolina and the University Of North Carolina School Of Law, Bill’s practice involves a wide range of business law and transactional issues.
